Aipan craft is a traditional cultural art form of the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. It is traditionally drawn in front of the houses or temples like rangoli, and has a specific design which is related to the occasion or the venue. The intricate art form that Aipan is, has been passed on from one generation to the other in the kumaun region of Himalayan state of Uttarakhand.
